The English department is the first group of teachers at our school (Bialik High School in Montreal, Quebec, Canada) who have expressed interest in exploring blogging in education. They are a serious and committed group of teachers who want to provide the most enriching experience for their students.
I have read Will Richardson's book and have been reading many educators' blogs over the past few months.
As a first step, we're going to join the blogging community of educators in order to explore the whole idea of blogging.

Exploring blogging with my English colleagues is a safe and comfortble way for me to enter into this strange new world of true cyber confessions. It is clear that participating in an online activity first-hand takes the mystery out of it. Blogging doesn't seem so scarey anymore.
